A look at one patient's story
I don’t like saying that one person’s story is more special then the next, rather God gave me the opportunity to connect with certain people at a deeper level then others. That may be based on how much time I got to spend with them, the situation, their personality and mine meshing well together, and how much they choose to share with me about their life. Every one of our patients are so special, every one of them has a unique journey, and every one of them has immense value that can speak into different people’s lives. It was an honour to know each one of them, in whatever capacity or depth I was able. I would like to share about one of these patients where I got the privilege of getting to know deeply. Her story and personality has touched me. It took me a while to write about her, as it is hard to explain truly how I feel. This lady, or girl as I would say, was about 18 years old.
